In this contemporary society, you would not think a disability would be a barrier to employment. The reason for this is the effort of enlightened people to overcome discrimination against person with disability. This new shift in perspective is not only in USA but has become a global concern. The jobs available usually offered are Government and Fiscal Management Specialist at the National Disability Rights Department, Computer Engineer at the US Department of Energy, Safety Engineer also at US Department of Energy.
Although the Federal Government have job offers, it is still a competitive area. There are also requirements to follow depending on the position the person is applying for. In this bleak economic scenario the US and world are going through, there are numerous jobless all over the world. Accordingly, it is more challenging for a person with disability to have a job. In spite of the limited opportunity and the discrimination, there exist a community that gives encouragement and offer jobs for people with disability.
