Our business partner in Puerto Rico called when our senior manager and director were absent. I had to deal with him because I was the only senior official in the company who was present that day. He said that he wanted some of or team members to his country to view the project he was planning to work on with our company. This was an opportunity we wanted so much in the company. I called my secretary to inform her of the number of passports needed for puerto rico. I had three staff members in mind, and two senior managers. I wanted to handle the matter on my own because I believed in my ability. Besides, I wanted to create a good impression when the management came back from the business trip. When the manger and the director came back to the office, everything was ready for the trip. They were so impressed by my involvement in the project. Everything went on as planned. After that trip, I got the promotion I had eyed for a very long time.
