Amy is excited because her daughter, Trish, is going to graduate in a few months. Being the first of her three kids to finish high school, Amy wants a big celebration. She wants Trish to feel how happy and proud she is for what she has accomplished. When she asked Trish what she wanted for her party, Trish replied, You don't have to prepare much, mom. Don't stress yourself anymore. I would already be happy with a small, intimate get together with our family and a few of my close friends. It does not have to be grand, you know. But Hog Roast would be really nice. Her mom just smiled at Trish's remarks. All right then, she responded, I guess I'll just have to make sure that all your favorite dishes would be there. Trish thanked her mom for the gesture and for all that she's done for her. On the day of her graduation, Trish made her mom and the rest of her family very happy. After all, she didn't just graduate, she was also class valedictorian. |
